Tetra Tech HEI is posting the following job opportunities to be performed at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio. Each position is provided with minimum criteria that the applicant must meet in order to be considered.

  1. Senior Financial Auditor
    • Successful candidate will provide technical and analytical support for contractor oversight in the areas of auditing, accounting, evaluation of requests for equitable adjustment (REAs), analysis/evaluation of contractor proposals, performance evaluation, and performance measurement
    • Position provides expert technical support and historical perspective in evaluation and verification of DOE contractor performance reporting and in development and implementation of procedures and protocols for corrective actions and performance improvement
    • Successful candidate will also possess experience and knowledge of Federal procurement and cost accounting systems, as well as, a thorough understanding of DOE financial systems and DCAA audit activities
    • B.S./B.A. degree required with a minimum of five or more years of relevant experience, or ten plus years of equivalent work experience
    • Acive DOE security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance required

  2. Fire Protection Specialist
    • Successful candidate will preferably be a Certified Fire Protection Specialist with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of government safety, emergency response, and security regulations, including American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
    • Experience in fire protection engineering technical review processes including Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) reviews and recommendations is required
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of industrial fire protection systems as well as experience working in Department of Energy facilities
    • Minimum of ten years of proven experience in fire protection engineering and safety and emergency response
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection or Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited institution or Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with 15 years of demonstrated experience working in the field of fire protection
    • DOE L Clearance
    • Willingness to travel to other DOE facilities or work sites

  3. Senior Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) Specialist
    • Engineering professional to provide support to DOE in administering audit and assessments programs including internal and external audits and assessments and development of the annual assessment schedule
    • Position requires a candidate who can provide subject matter expertise, support, and coordination for internal and external DOE PPO audits, assessments, surveillances, and inquiries as well as administrative and coordination support for accident investigations, accident investigation boards, and root cause analyses
    • Technical support for oversight program development including coordination of QA Program updates and modifications to address new/revised requirements within DOE and with each contractor
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Science
    • Minimum 15 years QA/QC experience on Department of Energy projects
    • Active government security clearance (Q)
    • Working knowledge of 10 CFR 830, Subpart A and NQA-1
    • Experience in developing and conducting assessments, controls of S/CIs, and oversight of DOE contractor’s QA program
