Nuclear materials management is critically important in DOE and NNSA efforts to ensure security and safety, improve responsiveness to program needs and reduce footprint and costs. The increased importance of integrated, Complex-wide nuclear materials management is reflected in the Nuclear Weapons
Complex Transformation Plan. Haselwood Enterprises, Inc. (HEI) offers a wide range of technical services to enhance nuclear materials management functions and meet the expectations of these vital programs:
- Life-cycle management planning and execution
- Identification and prioritization of materials, including site-wide and Complex-wide consolidation opportunities, disposition options, containerization and transportation requirements and data communication, planning, coordination and sharing with potential receiving sites
- Participation in program/project planning and execution teams (e.g., assist in integration, issues resolution and schedules and activity coordination)
